The Railway Platform. (by Rachel J Bailey)
A tribute to man’s dominance. Grey steel trees lead to a grey, corrugated iron sky, and the grey concrete grass is speckled with brightly coloured litter flowers. The river of tracks run on and on, brown and rust encrusted, but glinting on the surface. Like water, they carve their way through the landscape, carrying with them the flotsam and jetsam caught in their current, travelling ever onwards until they reach the sea.
