The splish and splash of waves echoes down the beach. I sit on smooth warm white pebbles, skin smelling of sun lotion. Sunlight ripples over rocks under the water, tinting them with turquoise green. Pristine white cliffs stretch round to enclose me in the scene. While you sit dreaming of my beach, half a world away, I sit under the hot sun, and feel the sands of my holiday dripping away.
